　　家得宝（Home Depot）公司是世界最大的建材销售商，销售网络遍及全球多个国家, 拥有2116家商店，每年为全世界数十万个家庭提供服务。2006年家得宝（Home Depot）集团销售额高达813亿美元，名列世界500强第43位！家得宝（Home Depot）于2006年底，收购天津家世界家居，成功登陆中国市场。
　　目前，家得宝美国总部在全球范围内进行新商品的开发和选择。为了抓住这样一个契机，使会员单位有望成为跨国企业全球采购系统的一部份，得到更多与世界接轨的机会，联合会希望与建材行业相关的会员企业，登录家得宝公司的网站系统https://otb.thdsourcing.com/，录入公司的基本信息，信息录入时间为2007年4月27日到2007年5月17日。会员企业完成信息录入后，应反馈给联合会会员部。如因各种情况在2007年5月17日之前不能顺利录入信息的企业，请把企业信息以书面形式提供给会员部，会员部会将信息转达给家得宝公司。

The Home Depot to Host ‘Open to Buy Day’ – June 28^th, 2007.  Atlanta, GA

As part of its ongoing efforts to bring innovative products to the market, The Home Depot will be hosting an ‘Open to Buy Day’ event on June 28^th, 2007 in Atlanta, GA.  This will be an exciting opportunity for non-incumbent vendors who wish to become suppliers to The Home Depot, to showcase their innovative products to the buyers and merchandisers.  Vendors who are invited to the event will have a prescheduled 20-minute meeting with the merchant(s) to discuss their product offering.  Further subsequent meetings or discussions as deemed appropriate will be at the sole discretion of The Home Depot.

The Home Depot is pleased to announce that this event is being offered at no cost to the participants.  Vendors interested in being invited to the event must go to https://otb.thdsourcing.com/ to submit their application and product details.  The website will be open for registration from April 27^th, 2007 to May 17^th, 2007.  Vendor applications will be evaluated and selected vendors will be notified by June 4^th, 2007.   Please note that The Home Depot may hold similar events in the future and suppliers not invited to this event may be considered for a future event opportunity.
